One of the many special aspects of shopping at farmers' markets is getting to know the farmers and vendors that work so hard to bring their beautiful offerings to market. Our farmers and producers are truly passionate about bringing you the best, freshest local food available and each has a unique story to tell.
We have compiled some brief profiles to introduce you to some of our vendors. We will be adding to them as we and our farmers find the time.
Here at 7th Heaven Spices we have been creating spice blends for over 15 years. It began in our kitchen making blends for just our family and friends. That is how it all got started. From there, we attended craft shows, trade shows, local events, and agricultural fairs in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Here in the lowcountry, we specialize in wholesale spice blends to restaurants, but our blends are offered to the public through our shopping cart. We are delighted to be a participant at the Farmers Market in Bluffton, South Carolina.

A little personal background information:
We moved back home to the low country from Seattle after being away for almost twenty years. We’ve always considered the Low Country home after 10 years living and raising children in Isle of Hope in Savannah. I am often asked, why tea? For the past 8 years, I was traveling the globe for a European Flag Carrier as a Global Account Manager and was in Europe at least one week a month. My return suitcase was usually filled with tea; European blended teas are phenomenal. And I’ve always been interested in the many health and wellness attributes of tea. I obtained my Specialty Tea Certification from the Specialty Tea Institute based New York to learn more and decide whether tea should be my next career. I decided to pursue it. If we aren’t at the market, visit our web site at www.Blufftontea.com
We hope you enjoy!

Fili-West Farms is a Pasture-Raised Poultry farm in the Lowcountry of Vance, South Carolina. Farm owners Nathan and Ghie Boggs are young and intrepid and so is their farm. Established in 2010, Fili-West Farms came into being after Nathan read Joel Salatin's books "You Can Farm" and "Pastured Poultry Profits". Inspired, Nathan decided he wanted to become a farmer in order to be a part of the solution rather than settle for the status quo. Fortunately for Nathan, he married a second-generation farmer from the Philippines who was receptive to the idea of starting a farm of their own. They've since become one of the Southeast's premier designers/builders of hot climate chicken tractors. The couple currently produce Pasture-Raised Poultry for Chicken, Turkey, and Eggs. They hope to bring Sheep into the mix in the near future in order to help meet the local demand for Lamb.

When High Hope Plantation, LLC was started in 2015, Jeb Bush became the seventh generation of Bush’s to be farmers. High Hope Plantation is a small farm located outside of Estill, SC. My grandparents bought the property in 1952 and named it High Hope Planation, in hopes of the land bringing happiness and prosperity.
What started as a hobby farm, has moved into a full scale operation. We have grown from a few rows to four acres, providing produce all four seasons. What started with a small backyard flock of seven in Savannah, has now grown to a yard full of 60 free range hens.
While the day to day operations of High Hope Plantation revolve around producing and the carrying to market of super fresh vegetables and eggs, the true focus is education so that people have the opportunity to understand where their food comes from and how it is produced.
Visitors are encouraged to plan a trip to see their food being created in person.

We now distribute our cookie dough from Philadelphia PA to Miami FL and as far west as Portland OR.
